4th Gen Spearow stealing :O

Near goldenrod city you can get a spearow level 20 of some old guy who wants a letter delivering and i've heard people are taking it and then evolving it into a fearow for their main team.

This is cruelty ! :P
Things like this shouldn't happen in pokemon games, it influences youth into theiving :?

I did give the mail though!! I'm not that bad. I delivered the mail purely because my conscience wouldn't allow me not to. But now it's a Fearow, in my PC.

I honestly didn't know that there was a guy who gave you his Mail-holding Spearow until yesterday. Funny coinsedence! Anyway, I might go back and do it in SoulSilver, as I'm too lazy to go catch a Spearow for my Pokédex... As for my HeartGold, I'll probably wait and do it after the Indigo Plateau.

In crystal I took that spearow over 50 times... gave it to the fat guy like five times XD Its kinda funny tho being able to be a team rocket member, If only you get put the team rocket suit on and steal pokemon! New game name Stealmon their advertisement phrase is "Gotta steal 'em all!"

I don't really see much discussion coming from this. The Spearow was given to the player to deliver a message, it was never really meant to be given back therefore it isn't really considered stealing. Plus, I think stealing it is probably one of the last thoughts when it comes to the guy giving you his Spearow to deliver a message. Anyway, like said I don't see much of a discussion in this, so...
