Spectrobes

What is Spectrobes? I heard about it before, but that was a looong time ago.

You know, making a thread about a game and asking people if they play it doesn't help. I'd like to find out what this game is about, and most reviews (expecially those done by the likes of Game Informer and GameSpot) normally suck.
 
I have played Spectrobes.

It isn't that good.

The game is lacking in a lot of things. The basic story is that some creatures have started destroying all the planets and you have to use your own Spectrobes to defeat them.

You can get new Spectobes by finding fossils under the ground and then extracting them. To turn the fossils into a monsters the microphone is used. Each Spectrobe starts of in a baby form, that follows behind you and can scan under the ground to search for new fossils. To evlolve the baby spectrobe so that they are able to be used in batles they must be put in an incubater.

There are other fossils that can be found that increase the stats of a monster.

I haven't played much of the game so this is all I know at the minute without researching more about it.
 
Yeah, I've played and completed the game.

The battle system is a bit confusing (and unless you have the right equipment as Rallen, it's quite easy to die in the later levels) and the ending was completely disappointing.

I wouldn't say the game was rubbish, but it wouldn't have Pikachu trembling in fear. <lol>
 
Well the game is out of the question for me.

My DS Lite's microphone broke. >.<

Though I probably won't get Spectrobes, lol.
 
Yes. I got it for my BDay and it is pretty much like pokemon diamond on how you get minerals and fossils and the trading card things are a great idea i love this game its great
(PM me if you wanna Wi-fi and trade spectrobes and stuff!)
