I always put that 'carp that ya buy in the day care. Then when I'm at the elite four it's all like "Go level 100 magikrap! Use tackle!" and then I laugh cuz it still only does lol% damage xD

Me too. When I replayed Yellow I did it on purpose though and got a Gyrados before the second gym leader xD.

yeah it took my a few times to relize that pikachus thundershock didnt do anything to him.
 
If you use Splash all 40 times, it becomes a One-Hit KO. Haha, just kidding, but you gotta love rumors.

Basically, every Pokemon must have at least one move...

So...Magikarp couldn't do anything else but splash around in the water.

BUT. In PMD it does have a use x3;; Just...useless in other games.
 
They just didn't want you to have easy access to Struggle.
 
I've gotten a couple of OHKOs using Splash on Shoddy battle, but it's hard to pull off... Timing has to be perfect.
