Yes, they do. The shadow egg hatches after 10 posts.

um, Dragon-Chan? I adopted a silver egg from you last June or August. I know I've posted WAY more than 30 times since then, and it still hasn't hatched. What's going on?
 
How do you collect your sprite after you are allowed to get one?
 
Sure. After 10 posts, it evolves (I PM you the Alquaza)
