Every time I try to import sprites I made, it says Byte size is too large and must data repoint.
Being new to this I did it and eventually it wouldn't let me edit sprites past a certain point and led me to restarting. Please help if you can.

You are probably repointing incorrectly or overwriting data in the process. Make sure you insert your compressed sprites to free space and THEN repoint.
