Argh, I can't do it x(. I save both the sprites to my desktop but when I open them in Paint they have the black background from transparency. Does anybody know how to fix this?

where are you getting your sprites? I get mine from Here: *image removed*
all i do is rightclick and hit save picture as(in firefox) and they work fine. if that still doesnt work than hit the print screen button on your keyboard(should be near the number pad on the right side of the keyboard) when you have the sprite on your screen, this takes a screenshot of whatever is on your screen at the time. then just go to paint and hit paste and cut the sprite out of the screenshot.
