I just did these coz I haven't other things to do, the unique that I spent time to do was the Suicune one... But if I want, I can make a good one... I think...

yeah, i hear ya, i was so bored, i redid one of the sprites amphros23 posted somewhere once :S (it was the ursaring wing thing :dead: )

This one spent too much time and was too hard to do. If you have a GIF animator you may see that contain 35 frames... Spent like 5 hours or something

This one isn't that good but is something...

What is a great gif animating program?

I use Ulead GIF Animator.

I use either macromedia flash, or jasc animation shop. Thes programs are the greatest :P

This is the 1st sprite I've ever done completely from scratch... How does it look?

Totally from scratch?! Excellent, I can't believe that it's from scratch... >_@

You'd be suprised at the detail you have to put into these things to give them depth. Since it was my 1st sprite made from scratch, it took me a whole hour. Doh!

yeah, spriting from scratch does take a while, at first, but you eventually get used to it and get them done in atround 15 min max (well i do :P)
