    Hey People!
Just wanted to ask, does anyone besides me think that the new generation Spyro games are a load of rubbish?
I mean, the PS1 versions (1/2/3) were pretty awesome games, then Enter the Dragonfly came along and started a chain of bad games (in my opinion anyway)

It is a shame that Insomniac is no longer in charge of the new Spyro games. But with what they had planned for the series, they went as far as they could, and gave the series over to another company to allow for more games.

I do like the tone for the new games. Ever since I found out that ANB was going to give Spyro a new life, I eagerly bought the new game.

But the actual game play was a disappointment. I didn't like the constant constant fighting. I missed the older games (up to A Hero's Tail) for the ability to go exploring in the world. I can't do that in ANB since if I pause for a few seconds to enjoy the scenery, a new enemy is flying towards me.

I haven't played TEN yet, which shows how much I liked ANB if I didn't look for a sequel. But I'm going to buy it so I can be ready for Dawn of Darkness, which is coming out soon.

I still like the new storyline. Spyro's new personality is better than the one he had in A Hero's Tail. (Elijah Wood just fits Spyro. David Spade as Sparx? Not so much. I'm looking forward to hearing how Billy West sounds as my favorite character.) The game play and how far these new games are removed from the "classic" platform of the old games makes it difficult for me to really like these games. I'm still going to play them though.

And Enter the Dragon was just plain awful. I couldn't play it at all because of how glitchy it was, the horrible level design, and the bad controls.
