Anyone else sring for shinies in pokemon hg/ss ? I am going for a shiny starter I am at like 340 Soft resets. I wonder how long it will take :(

I have been Soft Resetting for 14 days to get Shiny Ho-oh. It is starting to get REALLY tiring....
