I almost miss this episode when I woke up but, glady the show just started in time. Review time! ^^

- Jessie's appeling was terrible I thought this time.
- Paul appered in few seconds.
- Hahaha, poor Jessie.
- James, Meowth, and Mime Jr. got wet XD
- May and Dawn's appeling were great!
- Ash's was not bad either.
- I didn't really care for Zoey's appeling.

I thought this episode was great, and I would give this a 9/10

Awesome episode, with a flashback or two :P

-I still can believe May is back!!

-Dawn was really good! And Ambipom looked so cute!!!!

-Wartortle learned Aqua Tail? Wow May has gotten a hella of lot better, more so then in BF
-She's been in Johto this whole time, and Johto has a way of doing that ^_-
-Yeah took Ash 3 long ass seasons there to a heartbreaking finish lol after all those filler episodes!!! ><
-It's Zoey againnnnnnnnnnnn >.<'
-Finneon is cute!
-OMG Paul makes a cameo tooo?!!!
-Satoshi looked so cute in his comboy get up, and Buizel just stole my heart....again!!
-Buizel did look hot under all that lightning, I think I just got a hard on watching Buizel ....o.o
-Ummmm....okay..lol
- Everyones a Rival!
-Prusing a Passel of Pals?! lame title for a dub >_>
-Max gets a cameo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-Screw Max
-I miss the little kid, least we get to see him, with NORMAN and Charlene!!
-May looks fantastic in that Egyptian Dress!
-I wish I was her lol
-Her dress is pretty, but Dawn's new dress in DP 086 looks hella better
-Great Episode!

May's Appeal, and Dress plus Wartorle: We get flashbacks of is first encounter with May in BF.

This was a great episode great.

They kept the Aqua Ribbon.

Nurse Joy blushing because of Wallace.

All of the appeals were great. Except for Jessie's of course.

Dawn being super nervous and using Ambipom.

Rating: 9.5/10

I like this episode very much. Better than most of the other episodes I've seen.

-Piplup was so cute and awesome shooting Bubblebeam at Dawn!
-AMBIPOM!!! I liked that appeal :]

-"We didn't do a thing in the Solaceon Town Contest! It was all your skill!"
-Haha Jessie was overconfident. Too bad her routine sucked!
-I thought Wobbuffet was gonna make Jessie bounce off its head! Haha gotta love Wobbuffet!

-May's Wartortle! Wish I could have seen more!

-Zoey and Finneon! I like Finneon, but I wanna see Lumineon soon!
-Finneon's Silver Wind! "Beautifly of the Sea!" Love that Pokemon!

-Who knew Ash would be great at Appeals? [:
-Buizel was cool (:

-Max, Norman, and Caroline make cameos! At least I didn't have to hear Max's voice! XD

-Paul: What does he think he's doing?!
-At least he makes a cameo!

-May, Dawn, Zoey, and Ash make it to the next round!

As an overall, I don't feel this episode was horrid. I was somewhat taken aback but still very pleased to hear Kanto themes, such as when the judges are being introduced... IE, "The Matter's Settled" (that are very well composed by my opinion and have qualities that work well enough to create themselves) to be kept rather than remote in usage in the dub. Lots of emotional beats that are classy, aptly paced, but not methodical. Lots of nostalgia. :)

I liked a few of the dub pieces as well. They have a good, lucid quality to them, though I felt an abundance of it is a tad too trite and monotonous for my tastes. Dawn was very inconfident in tone in this episode, by contrast to May and Zoey, apparently, but at least she warmed back to her self at the culmination. At least it gives the character breathing space. And Team Rocket's.... Team Rocket. Mischievous, furtive, and skulking idlers at best. But more than the height of the episode, entertaining character interactions are what make it a draw-in in my eyes.

Ooooh forgot all about this episode, oh well, here goes:

- Loving the Wallace Cup arc so far, glad to have May back, why can't she just stay!?
- Sakura and Madison cameo from Cardcaptors!
- Did James just say "we didn't do a bloody thing back at the Solaceon Contest" LOL
- Love the reference that Wallace was a Gym Leader and a Champion in the anime as well as the games.
- LMAO at Ash's outfit
- Great to hear old music from earlier seasons in the background
- Yay! Wartortle and Squirtle flashback!
- Max, Norman and May's mum cameos :D
- Ecruteak City!!!!! (Just made my day seeing that old place)
- Drew and Harley
- Oooh Paul cameo, looks like someone's jealous *giggle*
- Yay! They all got through!

Overall, a brilliant episode. Can't wait for next weeks :D

I loved that episode, definitely one of my favourite's so far ^^

First off, I love Wallace *dies* he is so awesome ^^
Sakura and Madison XD amazing yes!
Them cookies were HUGE!
Contest costumes of everyone was great, especially loved May's.
Milotic!!!! *dies again*
May's appeal pwnd ^^
Zoey's appeal was pretty good, loved the way Finneon looked more than anything at that bit really.
Jessie's was actually my favourite XD I love her originality and total extreme style ^^
Ash's appeal ws nice, although I think Pikachu would've been better *insert Surfing Pikachu here*
Dawn's appeal was awesome, it was great to see ma dittle Ambipom do so well this time round ^^

All-in-all, awesome episode, but I think next week's will be far better ^^

Triva: Although children probably wouldn't bat an eyelid, many adults regard "bloody" as a VERY mild swear word. On the lines of "crap" I suppose and you definatly wouldn't hear it in English childrens cartoons. (my dad said it was once and wouldn't say it when quoting a film...I was like "wtf?")
- This is the second time James has said "bloody", the first in either DP02 or DP03

There was only 5 original BGM in this episode, but this comes as no surprise as there were 3 songs in the Japanese version (Watashi, Makenai!, Battle Frontier and Kimi no Soba de)
