Hey Guys - I'm kicking around ideas for my last 2 slots on a 2v2 team that's working really well right now. This is in game but i still appreciate strategy so ...

    Heracross w/Choice Band
    Adament or Jolly
    'Guts'
    - Megahorn
    - Focus Punch
    - Rock Slide
    - Sleep Talk
    <McGraws original Hera Stalk build>

    Parasect
    ???
    'Effect Spore'
    - Spore
    - Substitute
    - Light Screen
    - ???
<Spore Hera and let the insanity commence>

I'd build parasect defensively and his obvious job would be to put hera to sleep and insure Choice Banded + Guts + Sleep Talk <no mess ups without rest> = Pain :rambo: Light Screen is a big help to heracross as well as the whole team the last move is up in the air right now. Sub to stay alive. My question is Focus Punch in game would work with Sleep Talk right and exploit the go first no build up, right?

Iirc focus punch will have the same effect, but I'm not sure. Also I'm not sure parasect will live long :(

Yeah i feel you on that. I'm looking for a poke that will support heracross with a sleep move but will also be durable. How bout this...

    Togetic w/leftovers
    Calm or Bold
    'Serene Grace'
    EV's : HP / Def / Sdef
    - Follow Me
    - Light Screen
    - Yawn
    - Wish / Softboiled
<Total support - Wish and Light Screen helps whole team - Follow Me helps hera focus punch - Yawn to set up hera and force switch outs>

This would also help since its weaknesses aren't the same as Heracross. Geez I wish sweet kiss was lovely kiss cause i think i'd take a 75% sleep over waiting the extra turn. I'm totally sold on Choiceband Heracross so any support suggestions would help.

Hey man are you logged onto seribii right now

This is my team for XD <Orre> / 2v2 ...

    Scyther w/Bright Powder
    JOLLY <+Spd / -Satt>
'Swarm' - Ups Bug when hp 1/3
    Hp 289 / Att 319 / Def 182 / Satt 107 / Sdef 188 / Spd 330
    - Silver Wind
    - Safeguard
    - Swagger
    - Protect
    <Lead Safeguard - Swagger Agiligross / Slaking w/no confusion>

    Metagross w/Shell Bell
    ADAMENT <+Att / -Satt>

    - Meteor Mash
    - Earthquake
    - Agility

    'Levitate' - Immune to Ground
    Hp 270 / Att 107 / Def 110 / Satt 350 / Sdef 171 / Spd 350
    - Thunderbolt
    - Ice Punch
    - Skill Swap
    - Destiny Bond
<Bolt / Beamish - Immune to earthquake + explosion so he complements agiligross well - Skill swaps 'Truant' off of Slaking and onto the enemy>

    Slaking w/Leftovers
    JOLLY <+Spd / -Satt>
'Truant' - Act every other turn / skill swap to 'Levitate'
    Hp 500 / Att 356 / Def 213 / Satt 202 / Sdef 193 / Spd 300
    - Return
    - Shadow Ball
    - Bulk Up
    - Slack Off
<Tank - Last man standing - Bulk Up and pound away>

I was adding these 2 pokes to this team and said:
I'd also change Scyther's Silver Wind -> Aerial Ace <Fight Types are my main threat - and megahorn can take care of psychics/darks. Gengar's Destiny Bond -> Hypnosis <would also help set up Heracross>

If not your pretty quick and in my head :paranoid:
