hey guys, i was just wondering what the standard moveset for a tanking snorlax is? would this work?

    Snorlax @ lefties
    ev: Hp, Att, Sp Def
    -substitute
    -focus punch
    -yawn
    -HP ice

    :\

    No.

For tanking, you need to be able to heal, raise your defences or just one defence, a means of incapactitating the opponent/opponents, and perhaps an attack of some sort.

Snorlax wise, Curse, Rest, Yawn, Return would work out okay but....

You could go Curselax, who tanks aswell, Curse/Shadow Ball/Return/Rest :P

    It's mad as.

    the new standard is:

    ~Curse
~EQ <-- For Jirachi and Rocks and Steels
    ~Return
    ~Rest

Sure Gengar and Misdreavus beat you but, its better than all steel and all rock pokes beating you

Husk, that's not the new standard it's just an alternative.

Assman and I came up with that set months ago :P, on a team we made together which has never to this day been beaten.

    curselax with quake

We didn't come up with Curselax, we came up with the idea of getting rid of Shadow Ball in order to cover more pokemon with Earthquake.

Like husk said, Curselax with quake ;)

Actually Return gets STAB and is like 51 points more stronger that way.

I prefer Return on Lax, as it gets STAB, and just plain busts things up, we know that EQ + Return loses to Gengar but you use one of the other 5 pokemon on the team to cover that.

    Like Alakazam.

    No...

    Boah gets EQ'd...

Boah can take an EQ.I know.

EQLax VS Boah = Lax wins.

    Quake, Quake...

Boah can't FP because Quake breaks it's Sub, and Boah's Crunch won't do much to Lax..

whats in the "unbeaten" team u made with AM?

Skarmory, Dugtrio, Snorlax, Suicune, Weezing, and Starmie.

It has a 3x Electric weakness, but no-one has beaten it still :D

If Curelax is at 6+ Atk and Def, it prob wont matter if some ugly Jirachidiot is out. Body Slam over Return, slowing it down so you can possibly stop it from stalling. And Shadowball does normal damage to Rock.

    HP + Sp.Def EV's or HP + Atk + Sp.Def
    Curse
    Body Slam
    Shadowball
    Rest
