Standardized Tests...fun fun fun -_-;;

Ya I did the first half today too, I was so nervous I had to take my sweet time XD, there was a paragraph question, "Do you think people should have pet's?", that was expected to be 3 pages long so I had to write as I went along because mine was so short...that took me about 30 minutes to finish, and I didn't end up finishing about 2 questions, I just hope that didn't screw up my chances of passing.
Oh, my God that question was annoying. It said a MINIMUM of three paragraphs, and they give us three pages to do it in. How big do they want these paragraphs exactly? I almost laughed when it said, "Provide facts to support your statement"; because you know, we have information available to us during a test. Honestly, I have no knowledge on the subject of pets, so I just started make up gibberish:

"You should get a pet that suites your lifestyle. If you're lazy then you should purchase a low maintenance fish, instead of a dog."

But, these EQAO things are simple. In Grade 3, I remember filling questions and thinking to myself, "They're kidding with this, right?" In Grade 6, I had less time to complete all the booklets (because I was on vacation and came home after a few days of testing) and I still finished before some of the class. I had to work on several books at once because I had less time. O_o

Math last year...it was easy, but math is my strongest subject. I got a mark that moist would be proud of, by I have high standards for myself. And today's English...is incredibly easy. I'm positive that on one of the multiple-choice pages they were giving me the answers.

In England, we have 2 sets of exams at school. When you're 16 you take your GCSEs -normally about 8 subjects. When you're 18 you take your A-Levels -normally about 3 or 4.
(We start uni at 18, and have 3 years since we have an extra year and set of exams at school)
But..as for me..i've completed my first degree at university, and now I'm doing my Masters ^^; it's so much work -.- but it'll be worth it in the end

Well, I cant wait till next year- I get to take the ERBs AGAIN! XD

Well, I was supposed to take mine, like, three weeks ago, only, I missed school on the day I was supposed to take it.
Then, someone told me that if I didn`t take it, that the school would like, fail some sort of thing, and I`m like...Not gonna take it, cause of that. F*CK THE SYSTEM!!!

Thats what Andy took. XD But those are 6 hour tests! XD

Err, what test were you talking about? XD
The SSHSAT? It's sooooo annoying.
That test is all about competition since everyone's fighting to get into Stuyvesant High School.
Since only 100 people of about 50000 other students, that'll leave me with a nice chance of 0.2%. How cheap. XD

ANDY! HI! XD
Oh, oops typo, all well. How were the tests? XD

Hey Eli!

Well, it's umm......okay? XD
Try testing with your back curved 2 and a half hours straight. XD

I really don't know....I just know for sure out of the top 6 specialized high schools I can make atleast 4 or 5 of them. The best one well....the best I can do is dream on. XD

United States & Canada have a test Sophomores have to take for like 5 hours -_-
It is called THE PLAN.
Basically it is a long and pointless exam o.O

The Plan? XD thats a rather um...strange name...XD

It is a test to see what your good in.
I got a 65% in Math on that test, Yet my math average is a 97.2
The test is retarded.XD

Oh the ERBs are like that. XD

Well, we dont really get graded for it. its the average of everyones together o.o

Meh, how long were your tests?

He....umm...got booted out? O_o.....XD
But I'll answer you in place of him.
My test consists of 5 scambled paragraphs, 10 easy logical reasoning, 30 annoying/boring reading comprehension and 50 useless math problems.
There ya go. XD

God, I hated that booklet. o_o Especially that essay question. 3 pages to write whether or not we think people should have pets? I was only able to write about a page and a half before I ran out of things to say... and topics. Luckily, I skimmed over that and did the rest of my booklet before going back to it. I ended up finishing roughly 15-20 minutes early, though... so I kept thinking I'd missed a page or something. o_O

And putting on that green "Confidental" sercurity sticker made me think that there would be no turning back for any possible corrections. I just hope that tommorow will have more interesting questions that I can answer properly, and another essay question thats more interesting to write about.

Oh, Hah, we had all multiple choice! *dances* XD

Me too. But test-makers of the SSHSAT, wow do they know how to give you a headache. XD I mean, first they give you some boring passages to read and then they give you questions with like 2 or 3 possible answers. XD
