Starmie/Heracross Movesets

Hi Everyone,
I just need help with a good Starmie and Heracross moveset. I was always fascinated with both of them and have finally decided to train them.
Thanks.

Well here's something I've been working on
Heracross
Megahorn
Earthquake
Endure
Reversal

I'm not directly recomending this to you but if u wanna use it go ahead.

Better off using Rock Slide over Earthquake. You'll need something to hurt Flying types.

As for Starmie:

Starmie @ Leftovers
Nature: Timid
EV: 252 Speed / 252 SpAtt / 6 HP
Trait: Natural Cure
Rapid Spin
Surf
Ice Beam
Thunderbolt

Simple to use this one. Rapid Spin is always useful to have, Surf for STAB and Bolt-beam.

Heracross @ Salac Berry
Nature: Adamant
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 Spd / 6 Hp (I'm not good with EVs)
-Swords Dance
-Endure
-Megahorn
-Reversal

A classic set but Starmie has access to more attacks such as Shadow Ball being special. D:

Stone Edge replaced Rock Slide. *clings to Rock Slide though*

Hearcross would do well with this set.

Heracross @ Choice Band
Nature: Adamant/Jolly
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 Spd / 4 Hp
-Megahorh
-Close Combat
-Night Slash/Swords Dance/U-Turn
-Stone Edge

i still cant find a stone edge tm. where can i get one?

The tm is found in Victory Road. Though Stone Edge isn't a staple for Hearcross.

The best way to use Heracross is...

Heracross @ Choice Scarf
Adamant
Guts
252 Atk/ 252 Spd/ 4 HP
-Close Combat
-Megahorn
-Stone Edge
-Pursuit

You want pursuit, since if someone switches out on you, and you hit them with it, you can use a different move after ^_^

Heracross @ Salac Berry
Nature: Adamant
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 Spd / 6 Hp (I'm not good with EVs)
-Swords Dance
-Endure
-Megahorn
-Reversal

Then don't suggest them.

Starmie needs Rapid Spin for NetBattle. Other than that, use Surf, Ice Beam, Recover, Thunderbolt.

My favorite Heracross set (underused, but works out in the end)

Heracross @ Leftovers
Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
EVs: 196 HP / 220 Atk / 56 SDef / 32 Spd
-Bulk Up
-Megahorn
-Substitute
-Reversal

IS it worth setting up evs in 4 stats? i dont see any advantage in setting up endure/reversal on a pokemon that CAN be used in other ways.

Excuse me not to be rude, but I'll suggest EVs if I want to, its called getting experience in the field if anyone wants to help me with it.

If you use Bulk Up > Swords Dance then it'll take 6 turns to get max out attack and Heracross could be dead by then. If you use the Endure/Salac Combo then you get the speed boost and you can pretty much sweep out anything that comes out after you killed the first one. Swords Dance + Endure + Salac Berry + Trait: Swarm + Megahorn = ALOT of OHKO unless against one strong agaisnt bug, which you could then use Reversal.

well al i'm saying is its risky, and thsi pokemon can be used well on other ways. its not that i dont take risks, but i think it can be used better the way beach&sunshine said.
