3rd Gen Starting a new game in Sapphire....

Well in mine I chose Treecko cause Sceptile is awesome! So I think you should catch him, but remember to teach him solarbeam, cause he does not learn it on his own :( .

Each starter has there own strengths and weaknesses of course, so whoever you like best.

Thank's alot guys, appreciate it :classic:

I think Im going to go with Torchic, and I was thinking about going for Zigzagoon and Poochyena while in work today. I also fancy a Dustox, as they look pretty cool, what do you reckon ?

C.O.H, all those moves you listed for Blaziken, does He/She learn them as it level's up ? Yeah ? (I've never really used Blaziken before xD)

Thank's,
Jamie :D
Here's The Final Team I Would Recomend
Blaiziken
1.Sky Uppercut
2.Blaze Kick
3.Slash
4.Double Kick
His Double Kick Will Help Against The First Gym.
His SkyUppercut Will Be Good Against The Second Gym

Linoone
1.Shock Wave
2.Headbutt
3.Sand-Attack
4.Agility
Use Shock Wave Against Gym #6and#8

Golem
1.Rock Slide
2.Earthquake
3.Rollout
4.Double Edge
Use Him For Gym#3And#4And#6

Flygon
1.Ice Beam
2.Flamethrower
3.Thunder Bolt
4.Earthquake

Kyogre
1.Ice Beam
2.Blizzard
3.Surf
4.Rest

And The Sixth One Is Up To You. If You Want Dustox, Go For It ^_~

All you need is Combusken and a handy grass Pokemon like Tropius to get you partly though the game. Believe me, Blaziken isn't needed. I beat the Elite4 with Combusken's double kick. That double kick is the best. You get it early and it wipes out your oponents. Watch out for flying, psychic and ghost Pokemon though.

Awww, I think you should have used Treecko/Sceptile xP Once you breed it for Crunch and teach it Dragon Claw, it can be a great Special Sweeper along w/ Leaf Blade and some other move ~.^

leaf blade is class! but how do u get a baby treecko mew?

I got a Treecko...and it totally owned absolutely everything...I must have been lucky. Sceptile totally destroyed the Elite Four with very little help...and my Treecko-Grovyle-Sceptile only got knocked out about twice I think...in the ENTIRE game...so I say go for Treecko!

personally, i think it depends whether you want to beat the game easily or not...Mudkip/Swampert's the easiest, Treecko/Sceptile next, then Torchic/Blaziken... i chose Treecko for Sapphire cos it can wipe out Team Aqua for exp points...

My personal fav is Torchic. It takes some morere training agianst the Gym Leaders and I enjoy a challenge and it gives me more time to work on training my team.

Meh, I used my Sapphire Game to hold all my rare pokemon and ruby to restart

I say Torchic! Because Blaziken is awsome! and it takes a skilled trainer to train it because it only helps in a couple of gyms. And it rocks in the E4!

took out first three elite four by itself my blaziken did choose torchic

Mudkip

I think Mudkip is the best starter because once he becomes Swampert he can have a good combination of powerfull attacks.
