6th Gen starting over?

I've been thinking about doing it.....but a long time spent holding on to my original saves is a hard habit to break. I have loads of migrated pokemon and events in X, it makes me a little nervous putting them up on pokebank, even if its just for an hour or two.

I'm thinking I'll decide on a team to use and have them ready waiting (or at least some of my team) in the bank during my second play through.

Can you deposit eggs in the bank? I haven't tried that yet...

I'm probably more likely to restart my soul silver game, because it's almost been migrated dry at this point.
 
I have Pokemon X and Y. Y is my hub game, and X is going to be the game I'm gonna start over on. I usually did starting over before Pokebank by having two games of the gen i'm in, one as the hub and one to do all kinds of different run throughs on.
 
maybe pokemon bank makes it easier for those with only one 3ds since people with 2 3ds and both X Y can have 1 for back up and the other for main gameplays.
 
Hmm yes I think I would really like to start over. I always thought a Nuzlocke challenge or something of that nature would be extremely fun but for players like me who have done a lot of catching/breed/wonder trading, or for traders who have a lot of special pokemon they want to keep, it can be a PAIN trading them all to another game.

With Pokemon Bank though, it'd be a lot easier. So I think when I get my 3DS back from repair I'll definitely give it a shot. [:
 
I will never start over on my X. I've started over on Y and got a total of three Event Torchics, one with an Adamant nature. I traded my Legendaries, Y exclusives and Mega Stones over to X before I started over. Now that Pokemon Bank is out, it might just be easier to transfer my Pokemon over. Too bad it doesn't allow you to trade items because I'd like to trade my Y Mega Stones without needing two 3DSes.

But you can get them all over again in Y
