    If you are going to do that, than transfer as many of the pokemon as you can to Pokemon Collium (sp?) as you can especially 1 of a kind pokemon, in case you aren't able to catch them again.

    and if you're starting over, remember to get a FEMALE starter (or else things would be completely worthless...)

    if you have a female, you can breed a duplicate (for egg moves, or trading starters with friends.) By leaving 2 pokemon in the day care (with both pokemon within the same egg group), you'll get a Pokemon egg which will eventually hatch into whatever the female Pokemon's lowest evolution level is (with Marril and Wobbuffet being slightly special).
