[Let's Go] Stat question

    I traded the npc for a bunch of alolan grimer. I got 2 that are both lvl 44, adamant, "best" attack iv. But one has 100 attack and the other has 98. How?

    Do you have any screenshots of both Grimer, including the raw stats and their IVs? Chances are you may have used candies on one of them without knowing.
     
    I'm pretty Pokemon you get from in-game trades have random AV's. All my Alolan Pokemon have them and I don't remember giving them any candy.
