There is no point in this thread existing. all that ever comes out of it is one person complaining about how it sucks the fun out of Pokemon and another denying it and explaining how great winning is. The OP basically says it all. The only thing EVs, RNG breeding, etc. are for is winning. If you don't want to take advantage of them, don't. More power to you. If not, that's great too, you'll probably be a better battler. There isn't really much to discuss. And with that...
