status poll: shaking screen (old games) vs blue color animation (current games)

if you remember the old Pokémon games, the screen would shake back and forth as an animation when you got a status effect, today it is just a blue down color upon your Pokémon.

Which do you like better? the old shaking screen animation or the blue color animation?

I, myself personally like the shaking screen better.

I like the little poison/blue-ish effect. The screen jitter freaked me out haha.
