Still not available in my country??? (USA)

    Yesterday, everyone was saying that Pokemon Go popped up on Google Play, but for people in the US it said "not available in your country". Well for me, it didn't even show up. A few hours ago, after the news that it was available in the US, I checked back- sure enough, it had popped up, but it said the same thing it said to everyone else yesterday- "not available in your country". As if my phone is a day behind. I checked, and my phone IS compatible, and the date/time IS correct.

    Also, I went on my Ipad to see if it was on the app store, and it IS available. But my ipad requires wifi and I don't have an iphone, so my only option for actually getting it is android. Can someone help???

    Edit: I DID google this, and NOBODY that I could find has the same problem. Just thought I'd put that out there.

    Never mind, ignore this thread. I found a workaround: I went to Google Play via my ipad and chose to download the game to my phone from there, and it worked. The store still won't update on my phone, but at least I got around it.
     
    Well, as you resolved this, I may just close. Basically, if you can't download the game or log in, then just have patience as the servers are under a lot of stress, and meanwhile there's bound to be glitches and delays to various parts of different countries, and also with different phones/app stores.
