    Hi, everyone!

I have a couple of stones and I'd like to evolve certain Pokemon. However, I'm hesitant about evolving them. The initial Pokemon (let's use Misdreavus for example) has a normal learnset. Misdreavus learns her last move, Power Gem, at level 50. Mismagius, however, learns all of her moves at level 1. If I decided to use the Dusk Stone to evolve Misdreavus at level 5, would that mean she won't learn any moves? Since Mismagius doesn't have a learnset, it leads me to believe that If I don't wait until level 50, I'll regret using the Dusk Stone to evolve Misdreavus.

Is this the case? Will she really stop learning moves if I evolve her too early? If so, why is that? I find it to be lame!

Any help is welcome! thank you!

most new stone evo do not learn any level up moves but can still be move tutored Tms etc...so to answer your question no she won't learn any moves f you evolve her at lvl 5 and she will not level up very fast either

But, because she is evolved, her stats will grow better.

The above two posters answered this pretty well, so there's not much else to say. Please use the HG/SS Help Thread if you have any more questions though.
