Strange Email, is it Legit?

I got a strange email from here and I was wondering if it was legit or what.

"Hi Revolver Oshawott,

If you've tried to access The PokéCommunity over the last two days and found that you have been unable to connect at all, please reply to this email with your IP address (you can retrieve this at sites such as whatismyip.com) so that we may try to unblock you.

This may be an isolated incident, but we apologise for any inconvenience caused."

Just wanted to make sure no one is trying to hack me. Just taking a precaution with Sony being down for a while and making sure no one else is trying to get my information.

I got one too I believe. And yes webmaster@Pokecommunity IS legit as far as I know.

There have been several members who've been having problems getting into their accounts due to being IP blocked (I think it had something to do with a certain skin). Steve/Rukario is probably sending them out to check and make sure no others have gotten blocked so I'm pretty sure it's legit.

Jake was sending them.. If you're not blocked, then ignore the email.. if you are having trouble accessing PC (and are on a proxy now) you can get your normal IP unblocked by replying to it with your IP.

FINALLY. Now I know why I can't access PokeCommunity in any browser and in any laptop. I'm sure it has something to do with the IP. I'm on a proxy now, and I'm wondering how I could be unblocked...
