    [6:37 AM Monday JUly 19th: We already have four participants! Thanks guys. Also, today is me and my girlfriend's seven month anniversary. XDDD]

    [8:58 PM Friday July 23rd: We are beginning the tournament with eight members instead of sixteen. There is a slight modification to the prizes.]

    -The Tournament-​

    The battles in this tournament are to be performed on Shoddy Battle and not over WiFi. The prizes, however, are WiFi prizes! The total log of the battle must be e-mailed to me at [email protected] so that I can verify the winner and log the results. There will be a maximum of 8 participants and as I am included in the tournament the first 15 participants will be allowed to join. First come, first serve, so sign up now and claim victory for your team! Don't forget to read the rules of the tournament, please. ​

    - The Rules -​

    • The tournament will be performed on the Pokecommunity shoddy server. If another server suits both participants' needs, it will be accepted, so long as the information is made known to me. Logs of the battle must be e-mailed to me.
    • Disconnecting will result in automatic forfeit unless your opponent is gracious enough to allow a rematch.
    • Flaming during a match will not be tolerated and as I will see the complete logs, don't flame! If there is a legitimate complaint about the match, e-mail the log with your complaint and I will moderate.
    • "He flinch hax'd me. Look. His Togekiss flinched me seven times in a row!" and "He critted me like six times" are not valid complaints. In fact, if you make them, I'll disqualify you.
    • No Ubers and no Little Cup. All other tiers (BL, OU, UU, NU and NFE) are completely acceptable. OU is the standard 'mode' of battle. If you wish to battle your opponent in another tier, you must confirm that with your opponent and then alert me via PM. You do not need my confirmation to battle in another tier, but you do need your opponents. I follow Smogon's tiers. *NOTE THAT SALAMENCE IS NOW AN UBER*
    • The battling clauses/rules are as follows. These rules MUST be in effect when battling, and I must see in the logs that they have been applied.
      • Sleep Clause
      • Freeze Clause
      • Evasion Clause
      • OHKO Clause
      • Soul Dew Clause
      • Species Clause
      • Strict Damage Clause
      • Timed Battle ** If you run out of time, you lose the match.
      • There are no ties. If you somehow tie a match, I'll flip a coin. No joke.
    • You must supply me with a log of your battle via my e-mail at [email protected]. Make the subject of the e-mail "myshoddyname vs. opponent'sshoddyname results". Failure to supply a log results in forfeit.
    • Don't spam either of my inboxes, this thread, or your fellow tournamenteers. This will result in disqualification.
    • Sign up on the thread. See the 'seeding' paragraph.
    - Rounds-​

    The tournament will begin once all seeds are in. The preliminary round will be over in five days. I will post the results on the sixth day. Then, the five day cycle starts again with a day of rest for results on the sixth day. THIS IS NOW A ROUND-ROBIN TOURNAMENT!!! The bracket can be found here. https://challonge.com/strawberryfields
    There are seven rounds. Every battle you win, you'll recieve one TP (Tournament point). The person with the highest TP will win the battles! Ties will be broken with tiebreaker matches which will be scheduled individually.​

    The tournament itself will take thiry-five days, give or take.

    !!!-Prizes-!!!​

    Although this tournament is over Shoddy, prizes will be given via WiFi.​

    FIRST PLACE: The winner will receive any two (Non-legendary, Non-event) Pokemon EV trained in any stats he or she wishes, two free berries of their choice (excluding the VERY rare event berries) , and two free TMs of their choice. Also mega bragging rights.​

    SECOND PLACE: The winner will receive any one (Non-legendary, Non-event) Pokemon EV trained in any stats he or she wishes, one berry of their choice (excluding the VERY rare event berries), and one TM of their choice.​

    THIRD PLACE: The winner will receive one Alakazam EV trained in Sp. Atk and Speed, one berry of their choice (excluding the VERY rare event berries), and one TM provided it can be bought in game. ​

    FOURTH PLACE: The winner will receive one berry of their choice (excluding the VERY rare event berries) , and one TM provided it can be bought in-game.​

    FIFTH PLACE: The winner will receive one berry of their choice (excluding the VERY rare event berries).​
