Streptococcal fingeritis

Yesterday I learned that it's possible to get strep throat... on your finger. No, I did not catch this myself. I only heard about it from someone else whose step-sister had this happen to her when her roommate had strep throat. I did not as how this happened either, but you can use your imagination.

She had to take antibiotics for it after it didn't go away. It seems your hands are the most easily infected parts of your body after your face. Fun. As a side note, don't cut your cuticles. You only need a little oil to moisturize them and you can push them back if they're getting too big for your tastes. Especially don't get them cut at a salon because some of them don't clean their tools properly and you could get a lovely hepatitis infection.

This has been a public service announcement.

PS. I'm still behind on my NaNoWriMo. ;_; I was supposed to catch up this weekend. Gaaaaaahhhh.

What the hell did I just read.

This would be highly relevant information for me if my mom was still a nail technician. xD

Either way, though, this is good to know. -nods-

That seems... so weird to me. Like. I would never even think of doing something like that. They aren't even noticeable. o_O
