At the top of a post, you'll see "Thread Tools", down the bottom of that menu is "Subscribe to this Thread".

If you click that, you'll be taken to another page, where you can select which subscriptions folder you want to put it in, and your notification type - as in whether you want an email or not. To see your subscribed threads, click here or alternatively go to your User CP. If one of your subscribed threads is active, it will display it in the menu that says "New Subscribed Threads".
