4th Gen Such thing as Banned Nicknames?

lol... I named my weezing Marlboro... if that counts...

besides, the name Peyote would be pretty cool on a Cacturne

When I first got into pokemon, (Like sence I was born. lol.) I thought that you were SUPPOSED to pronounce Magikarp:MagiCrap. I am so glad that I was just a little kid, because if I hadn't, people would have thought I couldn't read. 6_6

Okay, the only pokemon I've ever had with a rude name was a Cacturne, which my brother named Cacturd. Sometimes, I sit and wonder what's wrong with him...

Baha. I've seen a Ditto called Sex Blob.

Perhaps Nintendo should put a ban on it... We don't want little children into pokemon speaking bad words. Although, most "little" children would have no idea how to get in to GTS, or read. D:

Speaking of children and swearing, my friend went up to a 10 year old while we were on Band Tour and said "Would you like some candy?" in a sweet voice, as a joke. Boy, that boy sure gave her a mouthing. It was quite funny.

Ah, Disfunction. I've always watched his battles and I must say, he does have the most creative nicknames, although I hate that they must be mispelled because of the 10 letter limit.

As for nicknames, I really doubt someone around 7 can figure out access to Wifi in the first place, but I don't think Nintendo should put a ban since most of the GTS Users are those who play competitively. Competitive users (From experience <_<) tend to be more mature. (Except for those who disconnect, tell you you suck, cheat, hack, etc. Then block you.) But I have to admit, I have a few crude nicknames myself, my Bronzong is named The Urinal.

I've seen a Celebi on the GTS, English, nicknamed " Imahack! " that was obviously hacked, but still made me chuckle.

I also saw a Tangela named " Dick soup".i had never thought of Tangela like that before XD
 
Lol, you people actually posting what they say is almost as bad as what's on the GTS....

Still, who am I to critisise? Most of these are mine.

I don't even need to swear. I can insult people using inuendo, irony, and sarcasm beyoned their wildest imaginations...but anyway, i'd love to know what you think...
 
These are just horrible. It's really sad when somebody has to nickname their Pokemon inappropriately just to get a laugh. That sort of thing really does need to be banned, and the people using those names need to be shot/stabbed/otherwise mutilated for being such pathetic trolls.

...Of course, this is coming from probably the only person on the planet who has never cursed in their life, so I might be a little biased...

But then, it's not something I do alot.

I've never named my Pokemon curse words, or anything real close them.
Just never found it funny, I've always thought it was alittle stupid.. oO;

As for banning 'bad' names in a trade.. that'd be too difficult to pull off, however it does seem like a good idea.

Even though my ten-year-old little brother curses almost as much as me. >.<

And yes, I named my Magikarp "Magikrap." XDD

But as I've said before, I don't nickname anything unless it's for competition, and even then, it's only Japanese names in proper caps, ie GENGAR = Gangar.
 
once in awhile i name my garbage pokemon foul names just for funsies. it will usually be like a bidoof or a starly. but i would never nickname the ones i keep with curse word names. i started getting into nicknames so all my main battle ones have them, but they're all non-offensive names
