    Hello, some of you may know me, some of you may not. Now, some of you may also know that I was in the process of making a Final Fantasy fan game called Final Destiny. Well, that didn't work out too well for numerous reasons. For one, My computer crashed. Two, I'm getting into my acting/singing schooling. But, alas, I didn't give up my RPG Making urge. So, now that I got a new computer, and no more school, I shall dedicate my free time to gaining knowledge, and more skills, as I create this new game, and I plan on finishing it, as I have nothing else to do. Also, I am using the original graphics, because I don't care about using unique ones, because this is a game that will help me learn basics on a few things, and bring a good game to the public, using only rtp graphics, with some exceptions of course!

    Story

    The story takes place, in a small town, nearing the kingdom of the Centered Continent. You are a young boy, who is the age of 15. You are sent out, partnered with your best friend on a field trip. A new adventure awaits, as you travel on your uncles boat, to the kingdom of the outer continent. But, along the way, the ship hits a few whirlpools, and the boat crashes on the unknown continent. Many things await our hero, as he tries to get home. But, will he? And.. if he does, is that the end of his adventure?

    Why did it take you a month to update?
    That.. was because of some issues at home, and other things.. etc. etc. Doesn't matter though, I'm back and ready to complete this game!

    Well, as the public, what can we do to help?
    On occasion, I may request a few things. But, only minor things like sprites, Icons, etc. etc. I'm still looking for a replacement sprite for the main character, and more icons for weapons.

    Any glitches?

    There is now 2 Betas. The newest one is a bit larger than the first, you can finally travel with your uncle Zel, and then, well, I wont spoil it for you. =)

    Alright, you may read the title of this and think, "BORING", but, on the contrary. My game has some references to other games, t.v. shows, etc. etc., and I want you people to play and find them. Look around everywhere, and post what you found here, and I will list it. Kind of like the glitch list, but this is more fun. Not only can you look for glitches, but references as well! As they say in the Shiny Hunters Club, Good Luck hunting!

    Alright, there are but a few things I could use some help with, which is why I am requesting stuff. If you played the battle system on Sudden Quest, then you would know that it shows the weapon when you attack a monster, a neat little feature if I do say so myself, but, one problem, I have no icons!!! I would like to look around the web, but I'm quite busy, and I don't feel like searching for icons whilst searching for the creators. So, if anyone would like to make icons for the weapons (armor if you want, but not that important) that would be great! You will receive credit upon your work, if I use it, and your name in the credits at the end of the game.

    Alright, who likes Arshes? I know I don't! But, because he is the main sprite now, he will be for awhile until I can find someone to make a sprite of him. "This mission, if you choose to accept it", will give you the opportunity to make the sprite for the main character of Sudden Quest. You will receive instructions on basically how it should look, and how it should not look through a PM. I know it may sound a "tad" strict, but, it's the main character for crying out loud!! So, if you want to, PM me, and I will give you the details. Thanks!

    Pokemon trainers? This isn't a pokemon game :P And, I plan on keeping the rtp tilesets, as they arent important to me. But, spriting, yes, I need a spriter, I need new sprites, but that can wait a bit.
     
    Your maps are very good. There is only one problem that I see. The dock has no beams to support it. The storyline sounds a little like Lost In Blue. Anyway, good job, and it is good to see something other than a Pokémon fangame.
     
    Ahh, thanks for pointing that out, I will fix it right away. Also, I fixed the battle system. Another thing, about the battle system, when the sprite attacks the target, you can see the weapon thats equipped to the party member while attacking.
     
    Most games that use the default tileset have poor mapping. However I must say that your mapping skills for XP are amazing and this game will probaly turn out to be a sucsses!

    It's very well done.

    The other ones, however, have too much blank spaces. You might wanna add something to the grass (other than that little star-shaped things).

    Good game, and it's nice to see non Pokemon games around...

    Thanks for the great feedback. I have released a small beta of the first part of the game. It's pretty small, but it gives you an idea of what the game can do. There are some glitches and such, but with the next beta, it should all be fixed with more quests and more storyline. There is one quest you can do, and it's pretty small, but, what can I say?

    The Beta dosn't work. When you get to the door that leads out of your room your character says: That was a good sleep, I feel drowsy though... Ugh wonder what Dad is doing? Than the game will pause for a few seconds before shutting down and windows saying its encoutered a problem.
     
    Really? Works fine for me.. lemme test this out. o.o

    Edit:I extracted it like everyone else who downloaded it, and it works fine for me. I'm not sure how to solve your problem, except to reinstall it. Btw, to mess with the stuff in the folder, it was some junk that helped me figure certain measures out, and I forgot to remove them. But, they wouldnt cause the problem anyway.

    i really like the beta its the best rmxp game with the alrady included stuff i've seen in a long time

    but till how far does the beta goes can you fish in the beta because i can't find a rod
     
    Yeaa.. about the rod, that was the last thing I needed to fix, but I forgot, because there were other things I needed to do first. But, how did you like the battle system? (my favorite part of the game xP)
     
    It crashes for me too... maybe because you're using japanese version?
     
    Maybe, well, theres this thread that teaches you how to distribute the game for people who don't have rmxp, so, I will take a look at that.

    Edit: Found it, I'm going to follow the instructions given, and update the first page.
     
    i really like your battle system its really one of the coolest parts of the game it must have taken you ages to make the animations with all the weapons or aren't you going to do much wepons

    one question can you make lik armor with the smithing if yes are you going to make it possible that if you wear it you look different

    okay two questions here is the second one how are you supossed to find that lee guy if he is already with you if this is just because its a beta than its okay but i thought i did something wrong so

    ps: why is the boss a bat and why is it so darn strong
