[SUGGESTION]Spriting contests

In the past there have been many contest,but almost none of them has it's winners.

Anyway here is my suggestion,the contests should be organised by members and not mods.Idea given by the new thread made by Jolteon!!!.

Well I have tried to make contests in the past and the mods told me not to. I think that we should keep it the way it is now and only have a monthly contest but I have some ideas for some changes.

Since the mods are busy modding and dont have time for contests and such. I think that the winner of each months contest should have the option to run the nexts months contest and choose judges...

Really? I guess i'm kinda surprised -i would've thought a contest if it was held and judged by the thread creater would've been ok, with a prize like a custom sprite by the creater or something :3
But okies ^^;

But if a small group of you decided to hold a contest, i don't see why you couldn't judge it etc. :3
But i should let the sprite mods talk about the judging etc :3 personally, i don't see why regular members can't be the judges ^^

Well basicly I didn't mean that,I thought some moderator makes a topic with name Pokecommunity's spriting contests and members post their sprites,and then every saturday the winners would be judged(3 winners)and on next saturday the judges would be the winners from the saturday before.

Yesh, i remember a rule that ocured a while ago on PC, im not sure if its there now, but i remember a rule once said, if you wanna start a contest, you gotta ask a mod, so yeah, i asked Tendo, and i was allowed, just aslong as you keep them organized, sort everything and what-not, I say its ok. So yeah, aslong as we dont get heeps of contests all over screwing HOTP, its cool, meh, Casty has still to sticky my thread oO; XD

Well it seems to me that the way it is now is fine. If the mods believe that a member is responible enough to make and keep up with their own contest then they can give a member permission.

That was when JA was doing them. It wasn't really his fault either; it was the members who judged. They never told him who they picked as the winners, so how could he post them.

You guys could just hold the contests yourself and judge them, and the mods just sticky them if you're worried about the voting not being done ^^;
