Not saying I don't believe you, but since he hasn't actually said it ON PC it doesn't do anything.

DSS, he was just saying that it doesn't mean anything if you post the convo, not that he didn't believe you.

And please, stop acting so mouthy towards us. It gets VERY annoying.
 
Guys don't start to argue. Just leave it at that. Plus I do belive him since I did see PPNSteve in this thread viewing it. So I would agree, S-Mods can ahndle it. but as to the point of new rules been needed, they do neeed to be implemented. Since most forums do have rules and that reduces most spam.
 
The bottom line is Claire still pays attention to the area, there is not a large amount of offensive spam, there is no need for counts to be turned off.

Just let them handle it,

I mean seriously if you think about it, not one Member Club has ever stayed ontopic 24/7. It is just something you can't do.

If it gets like really spammed (something totally off basis) then do something about it.

But I mean we are getting worked up about Member Clubs, which is pointless to care about since that is just a sub section of MCG
 
*sigh* Why do I even bother? I suggested disabling postcount, nobody listens to me. Rules would do little to nothing, considering that the idea of member fanclubs is basically asking for spam.

Yeah, this isn't spam. Topics that come from the key argument are ok.
 
Jorge, the fact is that despite Claire being there constantly, it still continues to be spammed. Your club is a good example.

Let me rephrase. A lot of what goes on in there is stuff that would be better suited on MSN, in PM, or something. Basically, you're only doing it for post count. Paige said so herself.
 
Ok, im on topic now lol.What would it solve?Turning off the posts would do nothing.SPAM is still gonna be spam weather or not the post count is on or off.

A lot of what goes on in PC could go in MSN or PM. Like you people say post count isn't anything but a number so no need making the big deal out of it you are.

Member fan clubs really have no set topic if you actually think about it for a long time, what? You just keep asking and asking questions? The threads do change topics, they're like mini-Dcc
 
Those threads don't even have a topic, all you do is blabber on about random stuff. 90% of discussion that goes on in MF isn't even related to the member who the fanclub belongs to.

Actually no, a lot of the talk that goes on is usually geared towards the member who the club is ment for.
