    Obviously the only reason I'm making this suggestion is because I've just released a demo, rather than out of concern for all other game developers. I'm selfish ;)


    I think it would be a good idea if there were an official DEMO thread or a GAMES WITH DEMO thread in which people who have indeed released a demo can post their game's thread and people know which games then have playable demos. There's a system like this on RMXP.org
     
    Or even better, a "Demos and Completed Games" sticky. Like the one in the Rom Hacks fourm.

    We've had this system once, and it did not work out. The lack of demo / full game releases really make this system useless.
    While it would be a nice system to have, it simply does not appear useful in any way at all.

    If game releases were to rise substantially, it would be another case.
