Hey guys i recently bumped into suicine and let him go purposly as i assumed that after being able to track him i could save the game before locating him on the map and then catching him with the master ball so i could get the desired nature i wanted....yet it appears i am wrong.
I've been going to the area it displays on the map but every time i move to that location i cant find him!!!
When i re-check it shows that he has again moved to a different location.

    What am i doing wrong?

I have a lvl 41 dragonair at the front of my party if that makes a difference.

    Thanks in advance

hmm i think that your problem might be your pokemon maybe try sweet scent if your using emerald but any others id probably try to move as quick as possible to get em

I think he moves everytime you move to another area.
Only a fool would try to chase it, just look at eusine.
just go in the wild normally and you will find him.
otherwise, good luck getting a good nature.

Well, he IS pretty rare.... you were lucky to find him that once. There is no specific area that they appear, I dont think...

    HOWEVER, THERE IS A WAY.

Requirements ( at least 40 super repels )

    1. Go any random patch of grass that has 30- level Pokemon.
    2. Save your game.
    3. Use the Super Repel.
    4. Gently press the D-Pad so every tilt you make won't count has a move.
    5. If use more than 10 repels, turn off/ soft reset the game, fly to any city and repeat steps 1-5 until you get Suicune.

    Hell?
Isn't it every time you FLY he changes?
    Well, it is for Latis...if it isn't I can't help ya there...xD

Well. the way I've caught him was. I just checked his pattern on which route's it went to. Then I flew to 3 routes ahead of it and i got lucky and we ran into the same route. The rare knows where you are so you got to in a sense..trick it

    Yes and No.

While, that works, soft resetting will also work.

Also, entering a random buliding and coming out can reset it.

Suicune's nature, IVs, and shininess are set at the beginning of the game, not when Suicune is first encountered. Unfortunately, you won't be able to use that trick to get the nature you want, as it will be the same regardless of where or how you catch Suicune.

Your best bet would be to dig up Pokemon Colosseum and try to snag the Suicune belonging to Venus. I don't know if you know this or not, but there is a glitch in Fire Red and Leaf Green that gives the wandering pokemon really low IVs (we're talking 0's and 1's here) in everything except HP. I recommend you catch Venus's Suicune since the nature and IVs aren't determined until you fight Venus for the first time.

Unfortunately, defeating Venus, catching Suicune, and purifying it enough to have its nature revealed (without saving, because you'll need to restart if the nature is wrong) is still very difficult. If you really want that desired nature, you've got to have either a lot of patience or a lot of luck. However, it still beats restarting your entire Fire Red/Leaf Green game just to change the nature of a Suicune with lousy IVs. Good luck.

I hate the fact that they make him move so much it -_- its very annoying and just a complete drag :(

The suicine i got was sassy...will this fair well?

Sassy raises Special Defense and lowers Speed...ouch, not so good. You need as much speed as you can get. An ideal Suicune would have a nature that lowers attack since Suicune isn't going to be using physical moves at all, really. I wouldn't really know what stat to give Suicune a benefit in, probably Special Attack or Speed, though there might be reasons that it would need a higher Defense or Special Defense. Anyway, keep in mind that there's a lot to be desired with IVs; you can use Serebii's IV counter here to see just what the damage is.
