People take the styles that their favorite artists pull off too seriously. There is no need to grow a emo haircut, dye it pitch black, write random crap on your shoes, start your own garage rock band, rip and cut up your jeans after you've faded them, and attach a bunch of "rocker pins" (that's what I call them; they're buttons with rock stuff on them) onto those jeans and denim jackets. QUIT DOING IT IF YOU ARE. IT LOOKS BAD.
