That's 'cause I haven't been online in two days. ;_;

Today was a good day though o.o ...yesterday was far from it...

The freshman going into their sohpmore year had to read a documentary, a non-fiction book, and a fiction book. I have about a week to finish the documentary and the non-fiction book, the boring ones. o_o;;;

I'd probably get kicked out of my SLC if I didn't read the books. Their standards are so fricking high. >.<
Eww, a documentary and and non-fiction book? I never had to read those. Just this year, seniors have to read a biography since this year's English class focuses on our lives and all that fun stuff. ><;

What's SLC? O_o; I have to read mainly because I don't want to get off to a bad start this year. I'm already terrified I'm gonna get kicked out of the NHS because of my math grade from last year... I can't afford any more screw-ups.

Hiya Kylie~! <3 Sorry you had a bad day yesterday... but at least you had a good one today, right? ^^

<3 Good days. I've just been having lazy days all summer.

SLC stands for Small Learning Community. There are like...a lot at my HS. Incoming freshmen can opt to join one. They jsut focus on one area more than the regular cirrculum does. Like my SLC is PACE (I forgot what it stands for...) and it focuses on getting students into a 4+ year university. Others like MASH (I think) focuses on getting students into the medical field.

What's the NHS?

It's cold in that corner isn't it? XP

Oh, we don't have anything like that in my school. But a couple of my friends go to GHAMAS (Greater Hartford Academy of Math and Science) but that's in a different town so they have to leave school early to go to that school... it sounds kinda sorta something like what you described. Maybe. O_o;

NHS is the National Honors Society. I somehow managed to get accepted and now I fear getting kicked out due to my grades. ._.;

National Honors Society...I think I've heard of it. During the 3rd quarter in my freshman year some letters were passed around to some people. I didn't get one. >_> I think that was what the letters were about though. o_o;

Yay! ^_^ Another NHS member!

I'm glad my school at least has that...they place so much emphasis on extracurriculars that academics is at an extreme premium...I feel like I'm going to graduate high school undereducated ;_;

My laptop's batteries have run out, the AC adaptor is broken so I can't charge them, and my brother's computer is more screwed than usual... which is saying a hell of a lot o.o; We're getting a new adaptor tomorrow though~

Hmm, I dunno how it works in other schools. Here you can only be in it as a senior. But there's also the *insert language here* NHS too... my grades weren't good enough to get into the Spanish one. I know those we could be in from 10th-12th grade though.

Ooh, you're in it too? Now I know of three PC members who are in it~! They place more emphasis on extracurriculars than academics? Living in CT all my life, academics and getting good grades in order to get into a good college have been pushed on us since we were little kids. <<;

Kylie- o_o; Woah, that sucks. ;_; At least you get a new adaptor tomorrow~! <3

Yup ^o^; Yesterday was so bad... meh... I'm ashamed of what I [tried to do] did, so I won't say... but meh ._.; Life without PC ish... it ishn't life ;_;

Yeah, I know. *shudders*

NHS? Tch, never heard of it. oO *shot* oX

You know you couldn't. PC is too addictive. =P

Because you have a life, Stevomuffin-kun. XD

Lol, I do. Tch, an' whenever I ain't on it's either because it ain't active, I can't be on, tch, or have a headache from bein' on in for too long, like I did yesterday. XD

Staying online too long makes me somewhat ill, but I don't care. o.o PC comes before my health... er... was that the right thing to say? xD;
