Do you like a sun team that uses Groudon's Drought, F/Thrower, and Solarbeam or a rain team that uses Kyogre's Drizzle, Surf, and Thunder more? Or do you think they both suck?

And remember to vote at the top of the screen

I myself like rain teams more. Anyway, Surf hits two targets. Fire/Grass combos are weaker than Jolt/Vap. Jolt + Vap make a great combo with assisted strikes (Helping Hand). Besides, Kyogre can boltbeam (actually Thunder not bolt). See Rate my team thread by me to see my rain team.

Don't double post, you could have used the edit button, or just included you second post into the first one.

Sun teams don't use Groudon with Solar Beam, no one should use a Groudon with Solar Beam, he has more attack than Sp. attack, Kyorge is the one with Sp. attack. I really don't like either of them, they might be fun though, I should try it.

Thunderbolt is better because it has more PP and you'll be shooting blanks if the weather gets changed.
Anyway, I like the rain team more than the sun team, though I haven't used yet either of them. Maybe I'll try rain team out when I'll have time for it.

plz vote people...this is a poll

They both suck because it is not a good idea to have all your eggs in one basket.

Try this Kyogre, Castform, Tyrannitar, Jumpluff, Ninetails

You could also replace Kyogre with a random water type for non-OOBER

    Out of those, I'd choose rain teams, but It really isn't a good idea to have all water/electric types in your party ^^;

Sun teams can also include such things as an Espy with Morning Sun (2/3 health recovery with Sunny Day) or a Dragonite/Tyranitar/Salamence/Metagross. Dragon types can learn F/Thrower, so a Sun boost still comes into play.

Rain teams can also include Espy/Zam/DNite/T-Tar/Salamence/Metagross. Thunder is an obvious for the ones that can learn it.

A standard sweeper is the remedy for those problems. Just watch out for Lanturn if you are using a rain team or a Zard/other Fire attacker when running a Sun team.

Whenever Ky is in it's always raining. :( Unless it's groudon of course. Well, it matters who gets switched in.

meh, i don't use ubers. never used one.

but in terms of sun vs. rain.. i lean towards rain. kingdra with swift swim is one of the best sweeperts out there, more so than say vilepume with chlorophyll. rain not only boosts water and thunder attacks, but also increases the speed of pokemon with swift swim.. that's a lot better than sunny day on grass pokes which only boost their speed, and fire attack IF they have one. problem is that grass attacks don't get boosted by sunny day(even though synthesis does), and fire pokemon don't get chlorophyll... that's why rain dance tends to work a lot better since kingdra would get both the bonus in speed AND attack.

a grass poke with chloropyll and hp fire+magical leaf is still pretty good, just not kingdra good.

sun wins just because of groudon
the diversity of types on a sunny day

    rainy day: water and electrics

sunny day: ground, fire, grass, steel

Eggy gives kingdra a decent fight for best weather user with its decents move pool and large special attack

Sleep powder, explosion (so blissey doesn't wall it), psychic, solarbeam, HP: ice/fire
