This is a team I made up while bludging around in Maths so if theres an impossible move or somthin dont yell at me. For that same reason I havent included natures and was lazy with the EVs (all 255). In fact I'm guessing its been done before but any opinions suggestions or improvements are welcome. Also Groudon is the lead for obvious reasons but if any has a good non-legendary lead that would fit the team I'd like to hear it.

    Groudon @ Lum Berry/Leftovers
    Drought EV: Sp. Atk/Spd

    Solarbeam
    Eruption
    Fire Blast
    Earthquake

    Exeggutor @ Lum Berry
    Chlorophyll EV: Sp. Atk/Sp.Def

    Solarbeam
    Psychic
    Synthesis (can it get it?)
    Leech Seed (also unsure)

    Jumpluff @ Lum Berry
    Chlorophyll EV: Sp. Atk/Spd

    Solarbeam
    Leech Seed/Mega or Giga Drain
    Synthesis
    HP Fire

    Houndoom @ Lum Berry/Scope Lens
    Flash Fire EV: Sp. Atk/Spd

    Solarbeam
    Sunny Day
    Flamethrower/Fire Blast
    Crunch

    Sceptile @ Leftovers
    Overgrow EV: Sp. Atk/Spd

    Solarbeam
    Substitute
    Leech Seed
    HP Ice

A slight variation of the LB/Sub/LS/HP Ice which kicks the **** out of dragons. :)

    Meganium @ Leftovers
    Overgrow EV: Sp. Atk/Sp. Def

    Solarbeam
    Synthesis
    Leech Seed
    HP Fire

Meganium is the poke i am most unsure about including. Just how much of a hit can it take?

I'd say this teams biggest weakness is the grass copping fire moves boosted from their own Sunny Day but that is where Houndoom's Flash Fire becomes handy. What about Ninetales instead of Meganium for its Flash Fire ability?

    Solarbeam
    Bulk Up/Swords Dance
    Flamethrower/Rock Slide
    Earthquake

    Looks good for a Groudon!

    Exeggutor @ Lum Berry
    Chlorophyll EV: Sp. Atk/Sp.Def

    Solarbeam
    Psychic
    HP Fire/Reflect
    Leech Seed

HP Fire to go w/Groudon's Drought!

    Jumpluff @ Lum Berry
    Chlorophyll EV: Sp. Atk/Spd

    Solarbeam
    Leech Seed
    Synthesis
    HP Fire

It won't need BOTH S-Beam AND Giga Drain.

    Houndoom @ Lum Berry/Scope Lens
    Flash Fire EV: Sp. Atk/Spd

    Solarbeam
    Sunny Day
    Flamethrower
    Crunch

    or
    -Flamethrower
    -Will-o-Whisp
    -HP Grass
    -Crunch

    Sceptile @ Leftovers
    Overgrow EV: Sp. Atk/Spd

    Leaf Blade
    Substitute
    Leech Seed
    HP Ice

A slight variation of the LB/Sub/LS/HP Ice which kicks the **** out of dragons. :)

    Meganium @ Leftovers
    Overgrow EV: Sp. Atk/Sp. Def

    Solarbeam
    Synthesis
    Leech Seed
    HP Fire

    Meh. Looks good enough.

Meganium is the poke i am most unsure about including. Just how much of a hit can it take? Meggy is a very good Pseudopasser. Like this MS:

    -Reflect
    -Light Screen
    -Leech Seed
    -Razor Leaf

for a nature, try a -Attack, +(SP.)Defense EVs in Hp and Defenses.

Looks good. I hope this helps!

thanks for the meggy ms but i like houndoom as is.

    Any other opinions?

Vileplume > Jumpluff, Jumpluff's Sp.Atk is just too low.

And WTF why suggest HP Grass > Solar Beam on a SUNNY BEAMING town, not cool.

Meganiums best set is his Swords Dance set, which might not go well on a Sunny Beam team (running from Sp.Atks for Beam), but it does work.
    -Swords Dance
    -Sub
    -Physical Attack
    -Physical Attack

Houndoom won't need Sunny Day unless you fear TTar ruining the Drought.
So try HP Ice instead as a temp testing thing.

Make all pokemon who have Chlorophyll as an ability have 196 Speed so they can outspeed Jolt and Aero with Chlorophyll.

I kno Groudon is a physical attacker, but this is a Sunny Day team. Fire and Solarbeam are both SPECIAL type moves.

And Sunny Day on Houndoom is in case they rain dance or hail or etc.

Does anyone hav a non-legendary starter for a Sunny Day team?

    Gengar
    ~Sunny Day
    ~Thunderbolt
    ~Whatever
    ~Whatever

it would add alot of variety to the team seeing how it can use thunder bolt and other diverse moves

I suggested the HP Grass on Houndoom as an OPTION. Just in case you need to attack fast, that's why it's there. Houndoom is a good sweeper, not a staller (IMO)

Not commenting on EV's at the moment. Changes/suggestions in green.

    Groudon @ Lum Berry/Leftovers lefties
    Drought EV: Sp. Atk/Spd

    Solarbeam Rock Slide
    Eruption Swords Dance
    Fire Blast
    Earthquake

Exeggutor @ Lum Berry lefties is an option
    Chlorophyll EV: Sp. Atk/Sp.Def

    Solarbeam
    Psychic
Synthesis (can it get it?) Sleep Powder
Leech Seed (also unsure) Leech Seed is nice, but HP Ice/Fire is an option

    Jumpluff @ Lum Berry
    Chlorophyll EV: Sp. Atk/Spd

    Solarbeam
    Leech Seed/Mega or Giga Drain
    Synthesis
    HP Fire

Put Spikes somewhere on this team or get Jumpluff out.

    Houndoom @ Lum Berry/Scope Lens
    Flash Fire EV: Sp. Atk/Spd

    Solarbeam
    Sunny Day
    Flamethrower/Fire Blast
    Crunch

Go there and pick any one but the last one. The Howling one would probably be good, because you don't have much physical power, only in Groudon. It would probably still be nice to have Solarbeam, because you don't need to set it up.

    Sceptile @ Leftovers
    Overgrow EV: Sp. Atk/Spd

    Solarbeam
    Substitute
    Leech Seed
    HP Ice

A slight variation of the LB/Sub/LS/HP Ice which kicks the **** out of dragons. :)

    Fine. EV comment later.

    Meganium @ Leftovers
    Overgrow EV: Sp. Atk/Sp. Def

    Solarbeam
    Synthesis
    Leech Seed
    HP Fire

Meganium is the poke i am most unsure about including. Just how much of a hit can it take?

    Ditch Meganium.

I'd say this teams biggest weakness is the grass copping fire moves boosted from their own Sunny Day but that is where Houndoom's Flash Fire becomes handy. What about Ninetales instead of Meganium for its Flash Fire ability?
    Ninetales sucks.

You need more physical power. You rely too much on the weather.

I'm liking the idea of putting Gengar in this team.

Everyone seems extremely insistant on a physical groudon, but i guess thats wat hes made for so i might as well make the most of it. Jumpluff was only a quick thought of a poke with chlorophyll, how about Shiftry instead?

And Ice Rabbit, you say it relies too much on the weather. Of COURSE it does, or else it wouldnt be a Sunny Day based team.

    More on this later.

Jaws don't listen to Ice he knows nothing about anything and everything.

    How about Venusaur?

    It's a tank from hell.

    -Solar Beam (Or Magical Leaf)
    -Leech Seed
    -HP Fire (Or Sludge Bomb)
    -Synthesis (Or Sub)

I think Sunny Day ruins how much Synthesis heals, and Sludge Bomb is suggested to take advantage of STAB.

If he's running off HP Fire > Sludge Bomb, the little losers who switch Skarmory into him will cop a nice big suprise.

No sunny day boosts how much sunny day heals
    Remember add Gengar, Lord Jaws

HP Fire and Sludge Bomb are super effective against grass types but,
Sludge Bomb gets STAB and runs off attack
    so stick with HP Fire

Keep Jumpluff but use the set:

    Jumpluff@ leftovers
    ~Leech Seed
    ~Sub
    ~Aerial Ace
    ~HP Fire\Solarbeam

Jumpluffs only use is a quick Sleep Powder.

The Gengar thing sounds like a pretty new idea could work.

Will be unexpected and the opponent will thin you are a noob untill out comes Eggy with mass Sp.Atk and Solar Beams the **** out of them.

Nah he meant Sunny Day boosts Sunny Day.

    <_<

    Ditch. Jumpluff.
