Sunset Colloseum Help?

    Hey could somebody help me out in the Sunset Colloseum? I can get to the leader easily but then he owns me! Every website I see says "Choose Gabite, Vigoroth, Grovyle, and Luxio" but that never works. He always chooses them and somehow they all have a stat boost (they are always faster and stronger) so could somebody give me any tips?
     
    ok how i beat is using those same pokemon, but first use vigoroth and gabite first. that should help you beat his first 2 pokemon... then continue from there ^^ it helped me :]
     
    Try beating the Magma Colosseum first. If you have already beaten it for the first time beat it another time and the rank in the Sunset Colosseum will go down to Rank 2.
     
    I beat Dusty with Tangela and Smeargle, lol.

    It took me a long time to beat sunset i got 3 perfect points and had to use one on dusty
