    Hey y'all,
I've been around for a few months, kinda lurking i suppose. I'm a senior in college, and am an avid programmer (hence my degree choice). I got back into Pokemon about six months ago after hearing about the meta game currently being very popular among other college students, and how indepth the games have gotten. Since then i've been planning my game, and have recently began developing it.

Oh, a programmer amongst our ranks. That should prove to be quite interesting, Jackofalltrades.
    (Are you truly so?)

    Welcome to the ol' PC.
Yes, the metagame seems to be attracting all kinds of new fans to the Pokemon franchise. Who would have thought the strategy behind something so simple as Pokemon would be that complex, huh?

I do hope you will have a wonderful time around these boards. It's just full of helpful people and I'm sure your contributions to it will only make it all the better!

    Take care.
I look forward to viewing your future posts!

    Welcome to PC, Jackofalltrades!

Glad to see you have returned to pokemon! You're never to young, I always say =P

I'd have to agree....Pokemon is more than just cute little creatures....XD. It requires a lot of strategy and knowledge, which is why there are quite a few older members here who still play!

I shall be looking forward to seeing your game! Enjoy yourself here =P

Just like Aura said, there is no specific age for it. In fact, the harder metagame is normally better utilised by the more strategical brains, which mostly belongs to the older people...

It's good that you're into programming this. Maybe you can teach me sometimes?
