    Hey. Since I am new to the forum, I thought I would introduce myself. I am Konshou.

    I am a fan of the Kanto and Orange Islands Pokemon sagas. With the exceptions of Ignorance is Blissey, Mewtwo Returns, the Lugia three-parter, the Red Gyrados two-parter, Raikou! Legend of Thunder!, and Training Daze, I generally dislike all of the episodes from Johto onwards. I feel the series has jumped the shark and will never be as great as it was in the old days. I am hoping to meet other old school Pokemon fans here, which I am sure there are plenty of.

    I have played Pokemon Blue, Pokemon Yellow, Pokemon Silver, Pokemon Crystal, and Pokemon Ruby. I enjoyed all of them. I am trying to get my hands on Pokemon Emerald, but I cannot find it where I live. I am also thinking of trying out either Pokemon Diamond or Pearl.

    Apart from Pokemon, I am an avid fan of House M.D., Yu Yu Hakusho, and Star Wars.

    They simply cannot be beat, for nostalgia sake they simply cannot.

    Perhaps you would enjoy discussing the good 'ol days of the Pokémon anime over in the Pokémon TV Shows and Movies. It seems there are usually plenty of threads concerning episodes long past that I'm sure you would quite enjoy voicing your opinion in.

    Have you tried a store that sells used video games on your search for Emerald? A used game is usually just as good as one brand new, and you will get it at a cheaper price. I don't believe I have spotted an Advanced Game on the shelves for quite some time now...
    (Online stores may also be an option.)

    I will leave discussing Yu Yu Hakusho up to Aurasphere. xD

    Personally, I prefer the older series of the anime. ;p I stopped watching somewhere in Hoenn. It just wasn't interesting anymore at all. What can you do.
