After a while of lurking, I finally find a thread that I can give a decent response in.

Personally, I like Jenny Tortoise the best. I get the reference, or what I believe is a reference, to it so I guess that's what makes me lean towards that choice. Others I'm fond of are Pangolin Rat and Flying-Petal Monster since I can get those. I don't understand how Bag Dragon relates to Gengar so if anyone could explain that to me . . . .

We haven't a clue, really. Like the OP said, these were all just things he got from an eBay lot. My guess is that it's something that makes sense in Chinese, or even how it reads to a Chinese person.

Oh, how unfortunate. Nevertheless, most of these names are rather creative so I give props to the person that made these. Except for Ancient Evil Tree which is just plain, well, plain.

The dude I got them off said he got them in the Philippines. Someone that knew nothing about Pokemon must have just looked at the pictures and named the cards. Although the Pikachu card was actually named Pikachu.

Well, Pikachu is the most iconic Pokemon in existence. It's been the face for over 10 years.

"Naughty Ball" is awesomely suggestive, but it was a tie between that and "Peacockery Butterfly." I chose "Naughty Ball" in the end, though, but "Peacockery" is now a part of my daily vocabulary...

...WHAT IS THIS PEACOCKERY?!
