Hey guys. I got 3 questions for ya:

1.) Which Poke'mon is better: Blaziken or Infernape?

2.) Is Gliscor an above average pokemon? I'm considering putting him in my team, but want to know if he's worth the training.

3.) You'll see my current team in my sig. (If you can't see it it consists of Infernape, Torterra, Slowking, Alakazam, Absol, and Glaceon) I want to remove Alakazam. What Poke'mon should take its place (out of all 493- excluding legendaries)? It doesn't have to be a pychic. Just whaetever one you think would mold well with my team.

I'm sorry if this is posted in the wrong thread, but it pretains to Diamond, so I thought this would be a good spot.

    Infernape. Much better Sweeper.

Apparently a lot of people use it, but I'm not so sure.

    Let's see... useful Psychics...
Azelf (OU, not Uber. It's a fair legendary)
    Gardevoir
    Gallade
    Espeon?

    1. i prefer blaziken
    2. i personally never took the time to train him
    3. maybe an electric type? like luxray or raichu, or something.

    1) Infernape. Blaziken has strength, but in DP's sweeper oriented metagame, Infernape's higher Speed puts it above the flaming bird.

    2) Gliscor is a pretty amazing wall, I hear, and one of the best Heracross counters out there. I've never used him, though.

    3) Post the team in Strategies and Movesets, and then we'll talk. A lineup of six Pokemon isn't nearly enough to determine how good a team is.

But he already has slowking as a psychic, so why not branch out?

i always figured a well balanced team (in terms of type) was best, but thats just me.

Originally this was a team based on fending off every type presented in battle. And still can w/o Alakazam. I wanted to throw an extra in there to make it more interesting and stronger. You know, not ur basic "strong against this type" team.

I take it that this is an in-game team?

Hmmmm... It depends. If you want hard-hitting type use Blaziken. If you want agile types, of course Infernape.

And about Glicsor, It's quite speedy and agile. It can easily evade attacks so it's a worthy addition.

I recommend Shuppet, Gallade and Medicham for Psychic(they're good because they're strong, although they have add. weaknesses.)

Yes, in-game team. I'm not specifically looking for a psychic type tho. I'm currently considering schuckle, heracross and gliscor.

1.- Infernape of course. a mixape is a deadly force if used right.
2.- gliscor is one of the bets garchomp and heracross counters out there, and a good physical wall. It resist sandstorm also.
3.- Azelf outclasses zam in every way. But you may consider it as a legendary although it isnt an uber.

shuckle has a great defnese, so he may work if you have a good attack and sp attack pokemon(s)

1.) Which Poke'mon is better: Blaziken or Infernape?
Infernape. Right now, Blaziken's speed is far too low.

2.) Is Gliscor an above average pokemon? I'm considering putting him in my team, but want to know if he's worth the training.
    Its pretty good, yes.

Alakazam is pretty good. PorygonZ is my favorite Special Sweeper though.

If it's an ingame team, a Magikarp can work well if it's a high enough level, so the point is a bit moot.

Anyway, Shuckle is useless. Don't use him. Heracross is one of the strongest Pokemon in the game, so definitely use him.

our opinions really seem to differ huh?

I kinda like shuckle. Can take hits from both types of attacks. It's missing something tho.

    edit: it learns rest =D

Heracross is one of the strongest Bug type Pokemon, but I don't agree with air conditioning that its one of the strongest in game.
