I could give quite a few. But these are the ones regularly used in tournaments.

Items set to none

Stages such as New Pork City and Big Blue, which are too big and/or have mobile platforms shouldn't also be allowed.

Time Matches set to five minutes each. This should avoid draws.

My two cents. Don't know of any others.

Yeah, I'd prefer stock as well. I don't like the silly timed scoring system.
 
Maybe 3 lives? But 5 is cool....

And yeah, I like the stage thing, although I like Corneria and Temple....

What's wrong with PictoChat, and the other ones missed out on Brawl.

I checked out, but Pictochat wasn't in the list of banned stages.

These stages won't be played (because they can artificially create a winner):

-Pictochat (with the various drawings)
-New Pork City (the pink-ish demon thing)
-75m (Donkey Kong when he lights up)
-Mario Bros. (The shells and sidesteppers)

Let's not take this too seriously, I just want to have fun with it.
 
Items that are to be ON: Smash Ball, Assist Trophy, Poke Ball, Home Run Bat, Hammer, Maxim Tomato, Franklin Badge, Screw Attack and Super Mushroom.

Feel free to add to the list, but these should be on for all matches. Item switch set on MED.
 
I wouldn't mind having them all on, but I'm not really an item ***** either so it really wouldn't matter to me if certain items are turned off for whatever reason.
 
Personally, I don't mind about the items, except the broken Fan of Doom.

I also think that items don't have to be set in the rules, but by the 2 combatants for that match. Then everyone can be happy, and reach an agreement, and also allows the 2 combatants to learn about each other a little bit.
 
I have an idea for items.

Each person picks three (more or less) items they want on, along with the smash ball. If the two people agree on one, then that doesn't count, and it is on. (i. e. They PICK the same.)
 
What characters should be in the next game, if any?
Some old Nintendo characters would be good.
Non-Nintendo characters...I can't think of any that fits.
 
Can I join this tourny? I use Ike with GCN controller.
 
You guys need to set up a tournament. One member needs to be the runner, keeping track of the games. You must Brawl with someone who will be on when you want to be on. (Obivously, playing someone in China while you live in Boston won't work).
