Supporters with standard usernames?

    I think I've seen some members around who are supporters but without the supporter username, as in non-italic and normal coloured. How have people done this?

    I'd have asked this in CQ&F but I thought it was more suited to being here, since not everyone in CQ&F is a supporter.

    Also, one more thing, if it's possible to quickly switch between supporter and user usernames, then in theory would it be possible to switch between other things like for example colour of usernames?
     
    Right hereeee. You need a secondary usergroup to be able to switch though, and Erica added them before for people, so you can just ask Erica to add you to the blogger usergroup as an extra and boom you can switch whenever you want. :3

    and apparently we aka mods can switch display usergroups now...? That was like blocked a year ago lol.

    As for colour of usernames, it's possible, but idk if anyone would be for it in terms of uppers/admins. :x
     
    Oh right, so I can just get myself placed into the blogger usergroup? Thank you, I'll send her a PM in a minute. ^^

    And hm, alright then. It'd be interesting to get some h-staff thoughts on that.

    Well you'd have to have your own usergroup made. So I think it would be best if only Tier 6 would get that if at all because think about the number of people who would have that each with their own usergroup. It would be crazy. : \

    I don't get why everyone would need their own individual usergroup. Wouldn't there just be a single user group for anyone who wants a name of whatever colour?

    Though tbh as far as I'm aware, Tier 6 users don't get many perks so I wouldn't have an issue with it being only available to them, if it happened at all.
     
    To add to what Forever said, you need at least 5k posts to be able to have a different usergroup.

    No. Because name formatting is attached to a usergroup with HTML. So if somebody wanted a certain orange and somebody wanted a different color of orange they would need their own usergroup.
     
    I wasn't suggesting it be so flexible that people could have the EXACT colour they wanted, lol. I realise that that would be way too much work. Just general user groups for a general colour.

    Also no, you don't need 5k posts to get the second usergroup. It's just non-supporters that need 5k posts to get it, THEN when they get supportered they become supporters/bloggers, so double usergroups.
     
    They changed it? Steve told me you have to have a certain post count to be in both usergroups. Didn't know they changed it. ._.
     
    Technically yeah, you'd need 5000 posts to be able to get into both automatically etc, but there's no reason to not be able to freely swap between supporter and non supporter username just because you don't have 5000 posts... XD

    aka the second usergroup can be added later, and it has occured already for users, so...
