Hey PC moderators, Have you ever abuse your power as a moderator?

Eh, I made it a point to not abuse power when I was a mod, but I'm sure there were times I was slightly heavy handed where I didn't need to be, and lax in the case of some people who deserved a heavy hand. I don't think anyone on the staff really abuses power though.

Well, tell a lie, I did used to edit my friends VMs all the time, but that's different ;]

Since Fox posted, I assume this can be applied to former staff members too. when I was a mod many years back, I made it a point not to do anything abusive. I occasionally edited friends' posts to comedic effect, but nothing major. XD

While I've never been offered a position as moderator here, I've moderated in several other small forums, and I can be pretty strict, but most of the time I am very much a fair-minded person when I am tasked with that.

oh man, I miss the VM powers. I don't think I ever edited anything, but it was very useful for checking out deleted VMs.

Same as Pachy, I curently moderate on several small forums, and while I tend to be a more laid back moderator than some, I've never abused my power.

    ITT: Fail attempt to troll.

On a more serious note, I moderate another forum (non-Pokemon related) and no. I've never used the banhammer except on obvious advertisement accounts.

Is this for real? If it is, consider that if a mod DOES abuse power, they aren't going to answer a basic poll in Q&F on it. If this is some lame retaliation against a mod who you think wronged you or something, bring it up with a higher staff member.
