Do you think the US needs better regulated gun control?

In Britain, most people find the US's gun control sickening. Yeah, OK, we have stupid amounts of knife crime but at least kids can't get their hands on guns. You almost never hear of gun related gang crimes in London and at least because it's knives, the gangs are mostly stabbing each other.

I think guns should be illegal while some drugs should be legalised. THE WORLDS GOT IT THE WRONG WAY ROUND! ._.

Weather it's getting stabbed or shot, if you are hit in the vitals, you are dead either way. So who really cares if it's by gun or by knife (or any other object).


The point of guns being legal in the U.S. was so that if the federal government were to become too powerful and abusive towards it's people, the states could retaliate. Now a days it wouldn't do much, considering the government has all kinds of tanks, jets, high tech bombs etc., but it's the thought that counts.

Another thing is how much the loose gun control here does for national security, one of the main reasons the Japanese never attacked the country during WWII (excluding Alaska and Hawaii) was because of so many people with guns. It would be extremely difficult to invade this country because not only would the military be resisting invasion, but the citizens would as well.

And on top of all that, the government utilizes hunting to keep various animal populations at safe levels for people and the environment, and the tax for all guns/ammuniton goes toward the environment.

Taking away our guns here would severely cripple this country.
 
Yeah it does need better gun controls. I mean when don't you hear the same crap again in the news saying that there was a gun fight near Jackson Avenue. There isn't one day that I don't here the same thing. >;)
