3rd Gen Swapert. Strong or weak?

    Like the title says. Is the most evolved form of a cute Mudkip strong or weak? It's attack stats are not as good as Blaziken and Sceptile. And I started out with Mudkip about five times and tried to finsh the game with it. But no luck. So I switched to Sceptile in Sapphire and Blaziken in Ruby and I won.So to conclude this....long post..Is Swapert strong or weak?
     
    its base stats may not be as strong as Blaziken's or Sceptile's, but you should still at least be able to build a strong team around it...
     
    I did build a strong team around it. Gyarados. Swellow. Numel's evolved form.-I keep forgetting it's name- Tropius. Plus, a Torchic that I traded from a friend. My Swapert was first in line before I reseted the game. It was at level 40 but started fainting everytime.

    thats exactly the move set on my swampert and bet the battle tower (lv.100) and always win.

    Overall Swamperts stats are a little higher if you average out all its states.
    What do I think about Swampert?
    Hint: He's my favorite pokemon.
    Alright he great when I use it.
    Swampert
    ice beam
    surf
    earthquake
    hyper beam
     
    Why dont you give Brick Break to Swampert? That's what I always do
     
    I think Swampert is a great Pok?mon to have on your team. They always give me a hard time in the Battle Tower in the lvl 50 challenges. (much, MUCH harder than lvl 100 challenges)

    They have a decently high Sp. Defense and Defense and I can only think of Grass as it's only weakness. There aren't many very effective Grass moves in this series.
     
    its ok, very versatile. you can beat rock, fire, fighting and lightning with it. it has a resistance to lightning so ya its pretty good
     
    Well....those are a few ways to make it strong....o_O; Didn't know it could learn surf and ice beam, though.
     
    Swampert is the best!!!!!!
    In my opinion.
     
    o_o; Well...me thinks the moveset of my Swampert was mudshot..., Water gun......, o_o; Rock smash....and that eathquake. O_O Argh!! I gave Lioone Surf. Silly me.

    Actually, Swampert can learn ice attacks which are super effective against Grass types so Swampert basically doesn't have a weakness at all. :P
