Well, finally I'm settling down and making a pokemon team for the third gen. games. I'm only using Leafgreen and Emerald, except I'm probably getting a growlithe from my friend.
My problem was, which pokemon should I use. Firstly, I'm not using ubers.
The thing I'm having trouble with is making a wall/defense person. At, the moment Im using Blissey for a filler.
Can anyone help me finalize my team?

  • If you want a Wall/Defense Poke, Forretress can be your main option. He has a spiker moveset thats mostly used.

    Forretress @ Leftovers

    Nature: Impish/Relaxed

    EV's: 252 HP / 96 Def / 162 SpD

    Moveset

    -Spikes
    -Earthquake
    -Light Screen
-Rest / Explosion / Rapid Spin

The last slot is really up to you. Rest can help your Forretress before it faints. Explosion is a last resort. Rapid Spin is used to blow away spikes scattered around your feild.

I think I'll use Gengar as a special sweeper instead of Alakazam. But, I'm not sure about my physical sweeper.
Good thing I already have a foretress ready to go.
I need to move tutor it.

I might have to change the moveset around to:
    Spikes
    Earthquake
    Rapid Spin
    Explosion/Rest

Tyranitar is an overused, but very reliable, physical sweeper.

    Rock Slide

    OR

    Tyranitar @ Leftovers

    Nature: Adamant

    EVs: 252 Atk / 168 Spd / 88 Hp

    Dragon Dance
    Rock Slide
    Earthquake

If you need a wall A umbreon will do nice i'd say.
Mine is bold to increase it's defence slightly.
    It's moveset : toxic , moonlight , double-team , faint atk.
He's strategy is to stall out but he's worthless against teel types or imunity snorlaxes or other poison types.
i don't really like the baton passer probably because I never managed to pull one off
