[SwSh] Does Excadrill with choice scarf outspeeds Timid Dragapult?

Just faced an Excadrill with 151 speed + choice scarf and he acted before my Timid Dragapult(258 speed) using Ironhead. How is that possible? I thought choice scarf increased speed by 50%, meaning he would end with 231 speed max. Is Ironhead higher priority than Fire Blast?

Nevermind I thought he had mold breaker but was thinking of the previous opponent. This one probably had Sand Rush.

Yeah, most likely it was an Excadrill with Sand Rush since Timid Dragapult outspeeds most Scarfers.
