To answer your first question, there aren't any current plans of its return. It may however return at some point in the future. When? I don't know, but it might.

The T-Dome was shut down due to high volumes of misconduct in the forum. Although it was a forum that permitted more mature conversation, members began pushing it beyond what we allowed, creating threads that were way too inappropriate for the community, and thus immature spam and the like arose.
 
No, it was discussion of some topics that were way inappropriate for this forum. There's no need for specific details of what those topics were. >>
 
That would be asking specific details. Why is it any business of yours whether it dealt with those topics or not anyway? It's gone, done with, and not coming back, no matter what got it closed to begin with. That's all you need to know.
 
Besides lack of political and religous discussion, I'm really glad the TDome was shut down. Like the staff said, it was misused really badly. It just wasn't what belonged at a Pokemon forum.

And this is coming from a member's perspective, not just staff looking cranky =P (And I say that in jest)
 
I was wondering what that thing was when it appeared on the moving list.

I say bring it back as a subsection of OC and include a disclaimer stickied warning of content. (assuming it's going to be fully public accessible and not locked to those who request permission like previously) (Serebii and Bulbagarden have controversial debate sections, as does the MIBuzzboard)

It's not coming back. Stop asking and bringing up bringing it back.

We're not Serebii. We're not Bulbagarden. We tried it twice. It didn't work. The members here were too immature to use it properly. We're not trying it again. Period. End of discussion.
 
...Anyways.

It's basically the lack of maturity displayed from members more than anything that prevent the revival of the T-Dome. Now, I'm not promising anything, but perhaps if members started displaying acts of maturity more frequently, we may be able to discuss and revive the idea once more. I personally would eventually like to see it come back; not to the extend of the old one, but back in some form.

Since this has been basically dealt with, and I'd rather not have a public argument, I'm going to close this. If anyone has any other questions or concerns, feel free to PM a staff member. Everything that basically needs to be said has been expressed now, so...
