I'm banned from using comps for anything but school for the week so I'm not going to be very active (posting on my epic, brand new pohone atm :D).
 
A 'friendly' reminder to all of you to stop spamming the OOC thread unless you have a question, a relevant statement, or something else important to say. Stop now, or I might have to talk with the other GMs about issuing warnings for spamming the OOC.

Sorry I've been AWOL all day, my mother decided to bring her laptop to work, and she worked late. Stupid mother, doesn't she know that I own her laptop by now? XD

Okay, in a little while I'll set up a post to begin the attack. Which one of you humans wants to have the honor of being killed by Alec first? Hm?

Aww, you guys started already? Won't be able to post until Wednesday probably. I'll let the LTs and the COL handle the defenses we have set up until then...I'm pretty sure we have automated turrets and snipers in high ground and all that jazz.

Yus, we did. And we Pokemon have...! We hev dinosaurs with big heads and weird things with cannons for arms, plus some tiny creatures like snakes and dogs >:O
Plus, we have two Zoroark with the amazing power to create almost any illusion, TOO BAD THEY'RE TOO CAUGHT UP IN THEIR FAMILY REUNION! Lol X3 But seriously, you two Zoroark better conjure up like, an Arceus illusion or at teh very least, Rayquaza >:3

Since I'm the Colonel I thought I would post the general defense... Since SV told us to :p

I envisioned a straight up charge with a small pokemon force going against a well fortified defensive position full of all sorts of nasty weaponry would go... aka very badly.

Remember these humans have more advanced weapons than we have today... A straight up charge in open terrain against a prepared defensive position isn't going to go well at all. Pokemon have their advantages in battle fore sure... but charges like this allows a single machine gun to wipe out a large amount of Pokemon in a single sweep of the kill zone.

How I envision what your small army looked like charging our defense like you did...

If you haven't seen Enemy At the Gates... All the Russians (crazy charging people) are killed or retreat (and then killed by their own men) without killing a single German (who have the defensive position with much better firepower).

I can edit the post if needed, but honestly a straight up charge with a small force against a fortified defensive position was not going to go well for you... the ambush (which was set off a little early) just makes everything for you that much worse since we suppressed your fire support for the time being...

I'm sure Lydia will arrive uber-late. She isn't my main character this RP, you know.
Plus...errr... this battle is already really f*cked up XD Not much of a battle as it is a suicide attempt. :c ...kinda nervous to fight, as I don't want my lil' Eevee darlin' getting shot the moment she tries to lay a paw on someone(if she gets that close).

Plus, Lydia's not really indestructible either. :B ...sooo yeah...

Yeah, I know it's a suicide mission(just as Herodes would want) but we can still put up a fight!

I keep thinking about this... how people and Pokemon were supposedly one species at one time, then they branched off, and all Pokemon are one species with a bunch of subspecies, and then there are apparently real animals that coexist with humans and Pokemon... and so, in essence, this is just another war where one species splits in two, believing that neither end deserves to live, even though they all originated from the same place.

Honestly the charge would have been more effective if you had brought a much larger force... Brute force tactics only work if you bring enough of it, and Nocturnal clearly stated several times this was a small force so ya... you didn't bring enough.

@Nakuzami History has proven the smaller force at the disadvantage can win... if they use tactics and good strategy. Look at Hannibal against the Romans... he was a huge pain in the rear because he out maneuvered the romans. Too bad here your small Pokemon force is using the worse tactic for its size and we had a trap laid out that was suppose to be used against a much larger force to help us win. Too bad all you sent was a smaller one which didn't have much chance to begin with. So effectively we have the better position, more firepower, and we took you off guard with the ambush...

We're just getting into position guys, Operation CROW is not a go YET! Thought I'd make it clear for now.

Oh, and yes, this whole battle is really messed up, especially since its going off of what was the original plan we had...but anyways, the force really was supposed to be a lot larger. And it's not necessarily THAT small. According to Lu, it's supposed to be about 50-75% of the army, but judging by a lot of the people's posts, its turning out to be a lot smaller than that...

Until Wednesday, you have the defense line, Stingray. Give em hell.
